The Grind

College has finally started, whether that is a good or a bad thing is up to the user.  I see it as a time to reflect on what I want to learn about and that is neural networks, bioinformatics, race, and the research process.  At least those are what classes I am taking.  They all seem like decent classes and it is hard to gauge whether I am going to do well or not.

So far, I am beyond what we have covered in our classes, in fact, I am living near two weeks in the future in my classes.  I am excited to get homework for some odd reason.  I am in idle mode and have nothing to do except read and not really absorb the material.

I am a little fragmented today, I have not gotten more than 7 hours of sleep the past few nights.  It is mostly because I am trying to get used to “college life” again.

If one was to ask me whether anything significant has happened this week, I would say, “No, nothing has really happened, I have only had one day of classes.  Everything that we have covered I have already known about.”  I really hope that tomorrow they give me something to do.  I want homework!

Hopefully next week will be better and I will be more content…and not tired.
